Do you know the real secret to pulling off a magic trick? Neither do I, but I imagine it involved a lot of work. You may have noticed my delta has gone down a little. Why might that be? Because I did something bad. I didn’t write over the weekend. Actually I did write a little bit. About six hundred words or so. So in order to make it up I wrote all the words I needed to catch up this evening. Some three thousand or so. I was expecting it to be hard but really it was just a little time-consuming. A little over three hours. Which makes a lot of sense.

Monster Hunters

All my writing was on one particular scene, which has mostly been description. My outline, which probably called for this scene being a fourth of the size it is going to end up being, was rather detailed it how the plot should go which has been very helpful. Again I doubt most of this will make it into the next draft of this novel, whenever that will be, but it is helping me explore some of the characters, particularly Zora.

Writing Buddies

We have a new writing buddy we’re following this time. It is Lacy Jae’s first NaNoWriMo and I have it on good opinion she is already suffering for it. As of right now she is about 3/4ths of the distance she should be at, which is doing pretty darn good in my opinion for someone not used to writing regularly. Keep at it Lacy!

Everybody else seems to have followed my example and slacked off a little over the weekend. I completely understand. Nows the time to pick it back up though! Gotta get ahead before the holidays hit!
