Writing Session

Word Count: 2,402

Today’s session was solo at Fuddruckers. I find it an okay place to write, as long as it is not too crowded. There is loud music and general conversation which makes for good white noise, as long as you avoid looking at the televisions. I don’t get my highest word counts while here, and the food is terribly expensive, but it makes for a pleasant break from. A little over two hours got me two thousand four hundred words so I might use it again in the future.

I have to admit, however, almost give up early in this writing session. It took me thirty minutes to write three hundred words and that felt so paltry

NaNoWriMo 2013

Daily Average: +2,402

Prime Delta: +738

Okay. With three and a half thousand left over, I’m going to need to write, at least a little tomorrow. I haven’t been able to devote a day to writing to finish this off, so I’m just going to have to go a little bit at time route. My goal is to finish Friday, so that baring something horrible happening, I’ll have Saturday to catch up. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I’ll find a super burst of speed and just finish it off?

Everlasting Update

Novel Word Count: 172,188 (+2,391)
Outline Word Count: 36,654 (+2)

Lots of made up material today. My outline for my first scene with Lee was terribly vague and not very useful. I turned it into an introspective scene and expanded it. As it was it was barely going to break five hundred words. Now it is well over a thousand. Not sure if it’ll make an editing cut however. Then again most of this novel won’t make the editing cut. That’s fine though. I’m getting my thoughts down. Huzzah!
