- Dark, murky
- Darkness, or a dark or gloomy environment.
Used in a sentence:
- The difference between the various clans of Emo could take years to explain but for the purposes of this class we will identify each but their primary disagreement: What is the right level of murk to sulk under after finding our your favorite band has betrayed you?
Bonus Word (Because I think the definition of the adjective form of murk sucks)
- Hard to see through, as a fog or mist.
- Gloomy, dark, dim.
- Obscure, indistinct, cloudy.
- Dishonest, shady.
I like the word murk. I also found it interesting that murk is both a noun and adjective, although I suspect murky slightly more grammatically correct for the adjective role than murk. Murk is also fun to say.
