Dumbing of Age: 2012-10-23: Better
Dina is a comforting friend.
Johnny Wander: #425: 2012-10-23: No Belly Pets
My cat allows belly petting in the evening. But not during the day.
Something Positive: 2012-10-26: Presenting
I sometimes worry this is how my progeny will evolve.
Schlock Mercenary: Book 13: Random Access Memorabilia: 2012-11-01
I have a much similar face for “I want peanut butter” and “I really need to visit the toilet” or so I’m told.

Johnny Wander: #360: c’mon I was checking my e-mail
Hehe. I love how angry Cricket looks in the last panel.
Girl Genius: Volume 12: Page 055
The last few comics have been hilarious. I need to learn how to write science-y scenes like this. “I’ve already got one of those!”
I’ve never used a spray bottle on my cat. She does love faucets though.
It’s true. It really isn’t a party until my cat joins in either.

Because everybody respects a big hat, not just jaguerkin.
Johnny Wander: #344: 2012-01-10
I’m pretty sure Zoe knows her own name… pretty sure. She also knows “no!”.
Johnny Wander: #345: 2012-01-12
How fun would that be to see outside of a convention?
Super Stupor: 2012-01-27: Poser
Oh I just about died laughing at in panel 8. If you wondering what inspired this comic, read the blurb at the bottom of the image.

Critical Miss: 2011-12-09: Erin in Wonderland
To understand this comic you need to have a passing knowledge of the video game American McGee’s Alice. Also knowing that the girl drinking the coffee was in a car accident earlier in the comic and has been having problems with seeing video game characters.
Least I Could Do: Beginnings: 2011-12-18
Definitely! I ever tell you about the time that the ride broke down while I was in the middle of that ride!?
Johnny Wander: #343: let’s make a sandwich!
Hmm… I usually find weird food combinations interesting. This… I do not.
Kawaii Not: 2012-01-06: Little Booger
This feels particularly appropriate after being sick for the last few weeks.

No his cat already has a cat-sized one. He needs a bigger one, right?
Questionable Content: #2063: It Has a Flavor
Mmm. Pie.
Honestly it’s about time someone got that mutation right. This also marks the first time Spinnerette has been featured here. I’ve just started reading it and so far the art is great and the story is rather amusing, as you can see.
Girl Genius: 2011-11-30: Vol 12, Page 11
A new record! Woo! Lets celebrate by putting out all the fires!

Scandinavia and The World: 2011-12-03: Trans Fear
I love the idea of putting on deodorant before going to war.
Been awhile since we had a Sunset Grill comic but that’s because it’s been very dramatically lately. Unlike the above comic. It speaks to me.
El Goonish Shive: 2011-12-05: #1368
You have to love Grace. It is a moral imperative. If this comic doesn’t make much sense I suggest reading the last few comics but the last panel just made me laugh.
Johnny Wander: #335: laundry rich
Ha. Also applies to college students as well.

And when life pukes up a hairball on you, you know you’ve done something wrong.
The Adventures of Superhero Girl: 2011-11-15: #87
Perhaps not the most glamorous way to save the city but I’d still appreciate her if she saved me from the toy poodle menace.
Johnny Wander: #299: party cone
Zoe didn’t get a cone when she was spayed. I wonder why…
Girl Genius: 2011-11-18: Vol 12, Page 6
Suddenly I don’t want to be respected by the people of Mechanicsburg. (If you need context, you only have to go back one page.)

Johnny Wander: #296: Ice Tray Cat
My cat tends to melt regardless of temperature.
Dresden Codak: 2006-03-01: Epilogue
A new entry in our list. I’ve been often told I really need to read this comic… so expect more! As for this comic, I just felt the entire premise interesting enough to share.
Dresden Codak: 2006-12-03: Dungeons and Discourse
Dire postmodernists amuse me.

Leave a Comment :Humor, Johnny Wander more...Comic: The Girl with the Skeleton Hand
by Nojh on Jul.26, 2011, under Comic Suggestions, Comics
The following two comics exemplify what I love about the comic Johnny Wander, which is primarily a biographical comic but occasionally makes short but sweet stories. The Girl with the Skeleton Hand is one of my favorites. Keep in mind each of these comics is several pages so the links below lead to the first comic in the series.
