Scandinavia and The World: 2011-12-03: Trans Fear

I love the idea of putting on deodorant before going to war.

Sunset Grill: 2011-12-09

Been awhile since we had a Sunset Grill comic but that’s because it’s been very dramatically lately. Unlike the above comic. It speaks to me.

El Goonish Shive: 2011-12-05: #1368

You have to love Grace. It is a moral imperative. If this comic doesn’t make much sense I suggest reading the last few comics but the last panel just made me laugh.

Johnny Wander: #335: laundry rich

Ha. Also applies to college students as well.

Scandinavia and The World: Proper Greeting

My friend, who was both female and American, preferred this style of greeting as well. Perhaps she had ancestors from Denmark.

Penny Arcade: 2011-03-09: The Land Before Time

I used to watch a lot of television… I think. It’s hard to remember.

Vattu #104

I love his expressions.

Gunnerkrigg Court: #859

Okay so that last one didn’t work as well. Maybe a little too direct?

Scandinavia and The World: Mexican Gulf

An observation I have made that I feel like sharing. This comic calls it Mexican Gulf. Its official name is Gulf of Mexico. Every American I know, except for geography school teachers, called it “The Gulf”. Of course there are no other gulfs so we always know what we’re referring to. Still.

Shortpacked!: 2011-03-09: Furry

Way to FOREVER RUIN Batman for me David Willis! Batman is now dead to me.

Dueling Analogs: 2011-02-23: An Update is Available for Your Computer

So totally true.

8-Bit Theater: #436: Peek-a-Boo

It is good advice, what Red Mage explained to Fighter. I use it often myself.

Scandinavia and The World: Clothes Confusion

We all know Denmark isn’t very good at um… being racially sensitive, but to be fair, that thing that she is holding does look like sushi. Or maybe I’m just hungry…

Scandinavia and The World: Questionable Invasion

I most quote apart of the blog entry for this comic:

“So be afraid, great nations of the world! For we have come to conquer the Earth, and will not rest before every man, woman and child eats pickled herring, visits Legoland every year and rests in Ikea furniture! MUWAHAHAHAHA!!! [link]

…By god. We’re the lamest aliens ever.”

Girls With Slingshot #1114: 2011-03-02

Really what can I say here?

Scandinavia and The World: Matter of Perspective

I know I fear the great frozen north. Brrr.

Scandinavia and The World: Bonding over Porn

Poor Sweden. Can’t win for losing.

The Adventures of Superhero Girl #30: 2011-02-11

Yeah. I want to be king of the ninja now.

El Goonish Shive: Sketchbook: 2011-02-08

It just seemed appropriate somehow.

Gunnerkrigg Court: City Face 2: #7

So yeah I know there is a lot of missing context in City Face 2 but believe me, you aren’t missing that much. Hence why it is funny.

The Adventures of Superhero Girl #31: 2011-02-15

Okay I take that back. I don’t want to be king of the ninja now. He’s a jerk.

Scandinavia and The World: World View

Well I know /of/ Norway… I mean Denmark. Yeah. Denmark…

The Adventures of Superhero Girl: 2011-02-08: #29

The commentary reminds me of a few friends of mine.

Scandinavia and The World: Winter Olympics

Hey! Snow is dangerous!

Scandinavia and The World: The law is the law

Who knew Denmark was lawful good?

Scandinavia and The World: The End of America

There there America. You might even like not having your people die needlessly and in pain.

Look at how sad America is!

Scandinavia and The World: Merry Christmas

Finland is staring at me! Ahhhh!

Scandinavia and The World: America Has Spoken

Well it is inhumane…

Neko The Kitty #679: Small Talk

“What part of no do you not understand?” “The pointy part.”

Scandinavia and The World: Healthcare

Ha. He has a kitty.

Scandinavia and The World: Wonderful Nature

The commentary explains why this one is hilarious.

Scandinavia and The World: Tall Food Is Good Food

America and Denmark are my favorite.

Scandinavia and The World: Reality Hits

Ahahahaha! I know I’m posting almost all the American and I feel kinda bad but they’re the ones that make me laugh and that is my primary criteria for linking directly. I assure you want to read some of the in between comics.

Comic Links: Scandinavia and The World

by on Feb.03, 2011, under Comic Links, Comics, Entertainment

First time posting this comic. It hit number one at TopWebComics.com last month, bypassing Goblins. So I decided to take a look. First few comics were alright. Then they started to get funnier. I think perhaps they’re more hilarious if you know more about the countries the characters represent but if you read enough, it becomes funny again. I love the jabs they take at America.

Scandinavia And The World: I Want Oil

Ahh! Planes!

Scandinavia and The World: Japanese Custom

Totally Metal
